Guide: Using UniversalX to Spot Trading Opportunities On All Chains

Table of Contents:
As you know, UniversalX—the first chain-agnostic trading app—lets you buy and sell any token, on any chain, without bridging.
Our goal for this platform is to make it the most user-friendly, convenient way to trade on all chains. However, how can you trade across all chains when surveilling a highly fragmented ecosystem is a full-time job?
To help you spot opportunities across every chain supported by UniversalX, we’ve incorporated discovery tools that allow you to find trending, successful, and newly-launched tokens across the entire ecosystem.
Here’s how to make the most out of them.
If you don’t want to read, we also made a video for you!
Landing at UniversalX

When you first log into UniversalX, you’ll land on the Home dashboard (also known as the Discover page). This section provides an overview of the market at a glance and is packed with discovery tools.
Some of its key features are:
- Account overview: On the top left corner, you can view your account’s balance, PNL over 24 hours, and quickly access basic functionalities, like sending and purchasing assets.
- Announcements: Next to your overview, you’ll be able to see a banner covering announcements and updates to UniversalX, including ongoing campaigns, new features, etc.
- Chain selector: At the top of our tokens panel, you can select a specific blockchain (or “Universal”) to filter the tokens you’re viewing. E.g., you might focus on BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, or view the entire market at once.
- Tokens panel: A list in table format with key data (price, 24h change, market cap, etc.) for tokens in your selected chain(s). You can configure this list to view different kinds of tokens.
Let’s zoom in on the options the Tokens panel gives you, as they are the main way you’ll spot trading opportunities.
Favorite tokens

The simplest feature to track every token you actively want to keep an eye on. To add a new token to this list, simply click on the star next to its name on its trading page. That’s it.

Radar
The Radar is one of UniversalX’s top features. It allows you to monitor notable tokens across all chains in real-time.
Think of it as an alpha feed of all tokens across every chain. The Radar aggregates data from all supported chains (or a chosen chain) and updates dynamically, so you’re always looking at current information.

The Radar allows you to view activity in ranges of 1 minute, 5 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, and 24 hours. It also shows you information critical to traders trying to spot new opportunities, like a token’s age (time since its creation), liquidity, and how distributed its holders are. When available, it will also give you links to the tokens’ social media accounts.
On the Radar, you can view tokens according to three criteria: New, Blooming, and Thriving.
- New tokens: Tokens that have been recently listed or launched. These are projects in their infancy (the very first stage of their lifecycle), often just hours or days old. If your goal is to catch the next big thing early, this is where you’ll want to pay close attention.
- Blooming tokens: “Blooming” showcases tokens gaining momentum and showing positive growth after their initial launch period. Think of Blooming tokens as projects that aren’t brand-new, but are still in relatively early phases and are starting to “flower” in the market.
Trending tokens: This tab highlights tokens performing well and maintaining high activity. This typically means that these tokens are more established and could be considered prosperous, although some newer tokens might still show here if they’ve maintained steady activity since their initial launch.
Built-in security features
Importantly, some tokens in the Radar may feature a red symbol next to them, as in the example below:

This means that the token has triggered an automatic security alert. Before trading it, it would be advisable for you to visit its trading page by clicking on it. Once on this page, you can click “Info” and scroll down to see what risk UniversalX has identified.

Highlights
The "Highlights" section showcases trending and noteworthy tokens, with a big-picture approach, rather than a dynamic one. It includes categories like "Trending," "Gainers," "Losers," and "New," displaying tokens with their market cap, 24-hour volume, price, and 24-hour change.
This comprehensive view helps users identify significant market movements and trends at a glance. If all you need is a quick overview of the market as a whole, “Highlights” is your best friend.

Categories
“Categories" organizes tokens in more specific ways. This includes industry sub-niches, dedicated ecosystems, and even tokens within selected capital firms’ portfolios.

When sorting by Categories, you can choose among three options:
- Sector: This allows you to filter tokens based on their type of project or platform. It includes categories like "L1s," "L2s," "Memes," "Stablecoins," "DEX," "Lending/Borrowing," "CEX," "Perpetuals," and "Infrastructure". You can use this option to find leaders and growing projects depending on their respective use cases.
- Portfolio Picks: Features curated portfolios from venture capital firms and labs such as "Coinbase Ventures Portfolio," "Binance Labs Portfolio," "a16z Portfolio," and others, providing insights into tokens backed or curated by these entities.
Niche: Offers specialized categories like "Virtuals Protocol Ecosystem," "AI Agent Launchpad," "Pump Fun Ecosystem," "GMCI Index," and more. It allows you to zoom into a specific ecosystem or group of tokens.
