Introducing Social Logins & Modular Account Abstraction on ZetaChain

Dear community,

We are delighted to introduce a new integration to our Smart Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) modular stack: Compatibility with ZetaChain’s Testnet! ZetaChain is a Layer-1 blockchain and developer platform that connects any L1 and L2. Its Testnet is currently live, building up to a Mainnet release.

This integration allows developers building on ZetaChain’s Testnet to use Particle Network's Smart Wallet-as-a-Service for full-stack account abstraction on ZetaChain, powered by MPC-TSS social logins. Particle Network's AA SDK enables the development workflow, from the creation of a smart account to the building of UserOperations.

What does this integration mean for ZetaChain developers?

Particle's Smart Wallet-as-a-Service offers a succinct and simple approach for user onboarding and Web3 interactions, streamlining the challenges of account abstraction and wallet management. Particle’s modular solution blends standard Web2 user experiences with the evolved capabilities of Web3, simplifying user onboarding via dApp-embedded wallets accessible through Web2 accounts. By natively integrating ERC-4337 AA into our modular stack, Particle also allows developers to incorporate gasless transactions, batching, account programmability, etc. 

For ZetaChain developers, Particle Network’s Smart WaaS provides the modularity and flexibility needed to build cutting-edge dApps while leveraging ZetaChain’s infrastructure.

Why should Particle Network users develop dApps to leverage ZetaChain account abstraction?

ZetaChain is inherently built for interoperability. It is the only public, decentralized blockchain and smart contract platform that enables message passing and value transfer between any blockchain. Its omnichain smart contracts give the power of programmability to non-smart contract chains like Bitcoin and Dogecoin, all from one place of logic. Using ZetaChain with Particle Network’s Modular Smart Wallet-as-a-Service

Leveraging ZetaChain within Particle Network's Smart Wallet-as-a-Service for end-to-end Account Abstraction can be done through a few lines of code.

Attached below is the code for a demo app leveraging Particle's Smart WaaS on ZetaChain to create a smart account (SimpleAccount in this case) through social logins (Twitter/Google within this example). The smart account gets used to send a sample burn transaction of 0.001 ETH. It is automatically gasless through our default Testnet Paymaster.

Using Particle, we've onboarded a user, created a smart account, and sent a transaction in under 90 lines of code.

Special community campaign 

To commemorate this partnership, Particle Network and ZetaChain will run a special joint campaign, offering participants the chance to mint an exclusive NFT via Particle's Modular Smart Wallet-as-a-Service tool. This initiative will reward users for experiencing the ease of creating a wallet through their Web2 social logins, as well as gasless NFT minting and transferring on ZetaChain.

Closing thoughts

Thanks to this integration, it’s now easier to leverage ERC-4337 AA within the ZetaChain ecosystem. Developers familiar with Particle’s services can now also take advantage of ZetaChain unique security and efficiency while plugging into MPC-TSS Auth services. Thanks to this, developers can now seamlessly bridge the Web2 and Web3 worlds to converge on their dApps and keep innovating within the dApp space.
