Introducing EIP-7702: Supercharging Universal Accounts
Table of Contents:
Universal Accounts make every app chain-agnostic… but they require developers to generate new accounts, forcing users to migrate their assets.
Or at least, that was the case until earlier today.
Right as Universal Accounts turn one year old, we’re introducing full EIP-7702 support. This allows developers to make any application truly chain-agnostic instantly, upgrading their users’ existing accounts into Universal Accounts, without additional steps.
This first-of-its-kind solution works out of the box with three of Web3’s most popular wallet providers: Privy, Dynamic, and Magic Labs, eliminating any excuse to go chain-agnostic.

Chain abstraction for projects with momentum
Smart accounts always held strong potential.
But, on their own, and despite multiple efforts by the community, they could not deliver the full experience the industry needed. However, teams are now realizing that it is their intersection with UX technologies like chain abstraction and social login wallets that unlocks the real advantages: a single unified balance across every chain, the ability to pay gas with any token, and seamless cross-chain transactions without the usual friction.
We have spent the past year building Universal Accounts exactly at this intersection. But, until now, the biggest barrier was adoption. Users had to migrate assets to entirely new addresses, causing unnecessary friction for developers.
EIP-7702 removes that barrier completely, unlocking multiple advantages.
Developers can now take accounts generated by Web3’s most popular wallet providers and upgrade them into Universal Accounts on the spot. Without migration. Without new addresses. They simply connect and forget about chains.
For users, this means your balances on Ethereum, Base, Solana, BNB Chain, and the rest become available together as one pool. You can send, swap, or use any dApp without bridging, switching networks, or keeping separate gas tokens on every chain.
In other words, you can just use dApps.
Begin integrating
For developers, our Universal Accounts SDK lets you use Universal Accounts with 7702 right in your app. Your application can now be reached by people from any major chain, even if you only deploy on one.To start building:

Forget about chains today—consider them abstracted away.
Particle Network's Chain Abstraction solutions are 100% free for developers and teams. By integrating them, you can set your project in a path to leveraging chain abstraction.
About Particle Network
Particle Network powers chain abstraction, addressing Web3's fragmentation of users and liquidity. This is enabled by Particle's Universal Accounts, which give users a unified account and balance across all chains.
