Chain-Abstract Everything: Announcing 2 Upcoming Products

Table of Contents:

In the past months, we’ve released the first 7702-based implementation of chain abstraction, allowing any account to be a Universal Account.

This advancement marked a great milestone in making Universal Accounts instantly accessible to everyone, removing the last barriers to chain abstraction: one account, one balance, any chain.

The end of bridging as we know it: watch our 7702 launch announcement video.

With this foundation now live, the team is advancing our roadmap with three focused deliverables, all aimed at delivering seamless, frictionless experiences for users and builders: making Universal Accounts even more accessible for a variety of applications and use-cases.

But first, what’s the fuss with 7702?

For Universal Accounts, integrating EIP-7702 has been transformative. Any existing externally-owned-account can now be instantly upgraded to a Universal Account, with no new addresses or asset migration required. For users, this means familiarity while gaining the full power of chain abstraction:

  • Unified balances across chains.
  • Gas paid in any token.
  • Seamless cross-chain actions without bridging.

This pushes Particle further to become the universal transaction layer for Web3. Builders can now embed chain-agnostic experiences with minimal code changes, while users enjoy truly seamless interactions across EVM and non-EVM networks, without managing unfamiliar account addresses.

Given the importance of this core integration, we are simultaneously advancing three key initiatives to accelerate adoption:

  • Co-founding the 7702 Collective alongside leading teams to drive real-world usage, share best practices, and spotlight the infrastructure powering Web3’s next chapter.
  • Announcing the UXmaxx Hackathon with the Collective, including partners like ZeroDev, Magic Labs, and Openfort — offering over $12k in prizes for builders shipping Web2-smooth experiences powered by Universal Accounts and EIP-7702.
  • Beginning the rollout of Universal Accounts V2, which supercharges wallet flexibility, cross-chain execution, and overall performance, making it even better for high-frequency operations like onchain trading.

All of this, in partnership with key industry players, is already enabling immediate adoption.  Chain abstraction, moving from concept to production.

Next step: The Universal Deposit SDK

The immediate next deliverable in our roadmap is the Universal Deposit SDK: a lightweight, embeddable component that simplifies bringing users from any chain into your application.

This widget will create the single simplest path to integrating chain abstraction for any project. Any dApp integrating it will effectively allow users to deposit assets from any major blockchain, and Universal Accounts will be used to automatically bridge and move these assets to the address and chain being used by the app, with the system handling routing, aggregation, and balance unification behind the scenes.

Developers will be able to integrate it in minutes, giving their dApps an intuitive deposit flow that feels native to the application, without requiring the user to manually bridge, and without requiring developers to chain-abstract every aspect of their application.

Instead of rebuilding their account system to support chain abstraction, developers can now get 80% of the experience with a quarter of the effort. 10 lines of code is all it takes.

Key benefits include:

  • Instant funding from any chain: Deposit assets from Ethereum, Solana, or any supported network without manual bridging: automatically moved to the account and chain being used by the app.
  • Frictionless UX: No need to switch networks or manage excess gas tokens during the deposit flow.
  • Cheaper & faster than bridging: For non chain-abstracted apps, users are required to use third-party bridges, which incurs significantly more fees and requires more time than the Universal Deposit SDK.
  • Extreme simplicity: Drop-in component with full customization options and comprehensive SDK support: works with any app, on any chain.

The Universal Deposit SDK will be our next product release, expected to come shortly after Universal Accounts V2, taking advantage of our upcoming performance enhancements. The SDK will be launched alongside a handful of launch partners, allowing you to experience the product immediately upon release.

Catching up to the future: Universal Agent Accounts

With Universal Accounts fully available for projects of all kinds and integrations of all depths, thanks to the UA Deposit widget, our next phase brings Universal Accounts right to where Web3 is heading.

The 7702 Collective has highlighted the growing importance of AI agents operating on permissionless infrastructure, noting:

“AI agents will run on permissionless rails... AI agents are expected to increasingly operate using decentralized, permissionless infrastructure, routing payments and managing liquidity.”

AI agents have already processed billions in verifiable onchain volume, making them one of the fastest-growing ways to interact with crypto. Yet most agents are still constrained by the same cross-chain fragmentation as users, leading to wasted credit usage, trapped balances, and limited execution flexibility.

As such, we’re introducing the next item in our roadmap: Universal Agent Accounts

Through a dedicated API and dashboard, Universal Agent Accounts empower AI agents to own and manage their own Universal Accounts, introducing native chain abstraction to the AI ecosystem.

This gives agents the ability to execute complex multi-chain tasks with a high degree of autonomy, without needing to manually handle chain-specific logic, gas, liquidity routing, bridging, or settlement. Instead of forcing an agent to reason through every step of a transaction flow across multiple chains, Universal Agent Accounts allow it to operate through simple programmatic instructions and let Universal Accounts handle the execution layer underneath.

Importantly, this significantly reduces the number of steps, tool calls, and credits required to complete complex onchain workflows, while expanding what agents can do. Workflows that previously required complex routing logic, multiple integrations, and heavy execution overhead can now be reduced into simple outcome-driven instructions.

Core capabilities will include:

  • Native multi-chain execution: Agents can initiate, route, and settle transactions across any supported chain in a single operation through Universal Agent Accounts.
  • Intelligent, outcome-driven workflows: From portfolio rebalancing and automated yield strategies to cross-chain governance, agents will define their desired outcome, letting Universal Accounts determine and execute the optimal path.
  • Autonomous execution: Agents can manage more complex transaction flows without needing to manually reason through every bridge, route, gas token, or chain-specific execution step.
  • Seamless integration: All of this is packaged into a simple LLM-friendly API, alongside a dashboard for developers to manage each Universal Agent Account.

Universal Agent Accounts mark the next evolution of chain abstraction… not as infrastructure, but rather as invisible rails that power everything in Web3.

Looking ahead: Universal Everything

These upcoming deliverables are all built on the foundation of our most recent integration: EIP-7702. And, with each step, we’re reinforcing the core promise of Universal Accounts and chain abstraction.

Particle Network remains focused on delivering the universal transaction layer for Web3. The fun is just beginning as the ecosystem continues to transcend onchain limitations.

To all builders and ecosystem participants: We’re accelerating.

Chain abstraction is inevitable.

Particle Network's Chain Abstraction solutions are 100% free for developers and teams. By integrating them, you can set your project in a path to leveraging chain abstraction.

About Particle Network
